A simple, high performance drive-through bath system designed to prevent the spread of dirt and debris on to public highways from site vehicles and mobile plant.

The Ecobath is a simple drive-through system with clever design features and a modular construction that makes it adaptable to many different sites – especially remote locations or wherever there are no services available. The 10m long central bath allows up to three complete wheel revolutions through the water, while removable, internal grids of steel angle flex open the tyre treads, allowing dirt to fall out, and the water washes the surface of the treads. When installed above ground, 3m access ramps are supplied and a sturdy horizontal road can also be provided in 4m sections for additional dry vibration cleaning. Using a combination of ramps and horizontal road sections, any length of configuration can be supplied.

Drive-through wheel wash Ecobath FAQs:

  • What is a drive-through wheel wash bath?

Ecobath was the world’s first drive-through wheel wash system. The design won an innovation award when it was first launched in 1990. Today, it’s still a great piece of equipment.

It requires no power and only an initial fill of water with the occasional top-up. This means it is ideal for remote sites with no access to power.

The drive-through wheel wash bath has low operating costs, is environmentally friendly, and is incredibly effective at cleaning dirt and debris from vehicle wheels and wheel arches to prevent slippery and dangerous roads.

  • When is a drive-through wheel wash bath system the best choice?

Ecobath or Ecoramp are the best choice when you are at a remote location and there isn’t access to electricity. Both are popular nonpowered systems which are easy to install, portable and maintain.

  • Why install a drive-through wheel wash system at your site exit?

When HGVs and trucks are leaving sites such as construction, quarry, or recycling sites, they can drag out lots of dirt onto public roads and highways. This mud becomes slippery and causes accidents. Not only is mud on roads dangerous, but it also breaches regulations such as the Highways Act 1980 section 137, 148, 149, and 161.  Our drive through wheel wash system helps you to avoid mud being deposited on the roads.
